New England Manufacturing Supply Chain (NEMSC)
The goal of the NEMSC Defense Initiative is to increase the number of small and medium sized manufacturers participating in the defense supply chain.
RIMES provides this unique service to any manufacturing company, in collaboration with the New England states Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) Centers, who desire to participate in the Department of Defense (DoD) supply chain.
The program identifies, addresses, and finds solutions for shortages as well as match existing industrial surge requirements. Also, by working with RIMES we can further assist you in your endeavors by helping your company handle in-process bottlenecks through Continuous Improvement Initiatives or promote Enterprise Growth.
Included as part of the initiative, any machine shop experiencing difficulty in response of their supply chain is elligible for further help through the Center for SupplyPoint Integration.
